When weak players limp UTG is always hard for me. I think I should have raised preflop and if I got played back at fold?

Maybe or just fold, I think I'd probably fold one off the button 7 handed and only one limper, but I dunno.

I might play it the same as you did...

Incidentally, if you're uncomfortable with UTG limpers - you're gonna lose this hand more often than you win it.
