Default I hate AK in th first two rounds.

And I really don't know how to play it properly. I throw in a raise of 60 + 30(X) x for every player who called. (somewhere along those lines, i don't calculate it exactly) and at the 15-30 level, if at least 5 people call I tend to shove it all in to increase my chip stack 10-15%.

I guess my problem is raising with AK and then having it not hit, or having it hit, betting it, and then having someone else reraise me.

Would folding AK in the first two levels be horrible EV? I've toyed with the idea.

Yes.

AK makes a lot of chips for me in the early rounds. There are several threads that talk about how to play it postflop. But I can't imagine that making a standard raise and then making a small continuation bet into one opponent is losing you any chips.

Why don't you post a typical AK hand you had trouble with?
