That is very good. Another good idea would be to have the "tip" or "tail" of the hat - the part with the white pom pom - hanging out along his neck.

EDIT: I saw the animation the first time around but didn't put two and two together that you turned the tie into that part of the hat. You are seriously at the very pinnacle of your field.

It does look cool with the pompom haning out though. I added it so he can pick which he likes. Then I just thought why is santa even wearing a tie?
