Default Did I play these right?

Hand #1 There was a hand earlier ( I wasn't involved in) where the player in CO for this hand made a stoned cold bluff at a hand and lost. That is about the only read I had on him, other than the fact that 2 hands prior to this he was pushed all in and lost.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

UTG+1 ($5.75)
Hero ($8.45)
MP2 ($22.90)
MP3 ($11.95)
CO ($12.25)
Button ($10.35)
SB ($24.50)
BB ($9.90)
UTG ($5.95)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.10, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.5, 1 fold, MP3 calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, 3 folds, UTG folds.

Flop: ($1.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)

Hero bets $1, CO raises to $3, Hero calls $2.

Both hands are pretty good though I think you'll see a flush a lot of the time in hand one. But he didn't really make it that hard for you to call down and given your read of him, I think I might too since the bets are relatively small.

Hand 2 I'd bet a little more on the turn in the neighborhood of $7-$8 dollars. River is fine...too bad you didn't get paid off, but it looks like they both had mediocre hands or missed draws.

ya i was hoping to get paid off after the 2 came on the river. I maybe should have bet less here. Obviously they were on draws. In the first hand, turned out the smallest read I had on him was right. He showed A 6 spades at showdown.

You seem to have a tendency to underbet the pot. Get that out of your game at NL25 you should be looking to bet at least the pot for the simple fact that people will call.

Hand 1. This is played well, obviously you hate it when he raises the turn but he doesn't give you the chance to fold with his weak bets. He could easily have A9, A7, TT or any other badly played hand

Hand 2. Flop is good but again you underbet the turn. You have 3 people who called a reraise thts more than enough action, get the money in, if they're drawing make them pay. River bet is good since you're only betting for value and the draws missed.

would you say this is still underbetting or is it ok? i called this preflop thinking that position was good. my bet on the river was thinking that i had the nuts and i was trying to either make sure that i got a call or hoping hed think i was weak and try and reraise. was that bad?

A push isn't even half pot. Those small extracting bets are a bad habit.

You are missing value. You get more satisfaction cause it seems like they work out so often, but most of the time they are willing to call much more.
