So it's actually like a time-limited rakeback deal? Is that how they do it?

If you consider 1 year as time limited...

extremely tight. A lot of bonus whores. Not much selection.
A few weak players though.
Its ok when used with the VFP program though.

Here is the scoop on gamesgrid.com.

First off I highly recommend this site for poker players looking for a change of pace and variety. The unique thing about gamesgrid is that they offer Dealer's Choice H.O.R.S.E tables (Hold'em, Omaha 8, Razz, Stud, Stud 8) as well as your typical limit and no-limit tables.

Although this site still has somewhat of a small following, membership has more than tripled since I became a member about one month ago. The 1000% deposit bonus is for real and bonus money is accumulated on a typical points for cash transaction that is credited to your account on a daily basis. I deposited $100 when I joined and by playing about 12-15 hours/week for 6 weeks, I have cleared nearly 20% of my bonus. (I typically play 1/2 or 2/4 but higher limits will clear the bonus quicker since it's based on the rake).

One thing I really enjoy about the site is the VFP program which pays you up to 3x the BB per hour just to play. Let me say that this has been a nice added bonus to my poker account.

Last but not least I have to mention the great support that they have in place. You will frequently find ppl involved with the site playing at the tables and answering any question you may have or taking suggestions. There is one particular "COLORFUL" admin that has been very nice to chat with and runs a freeroll most nights of the week which I have been privy to on a few occasions.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding the site, I would be happy to answer them.
