Default Do you resent splitting the pot?

just going over my PT sessions, and I'm seeing a trend over the last month. That all the times I'm in a truly large pot, and have the lead hand, I end up splitting it with someone whose been dealt an identical hand.
For some reason, I find that more annoying than just losing the hand. After all, I'm just getting my money back less rake. Well, a few extra bets in there usually from the loosy gooseys early on.

I dunno, how do you guys like the "chop-chop"?

yes, very fustrating when you get dealt something like A8, flop comes A8Jr, so you slowplay your 2 pair, only to find another jack coming up, making your 2 pair obselete! it really annoys me to see the rake take your money. especially when you see someone go allin, even though both you and he know it is a split pot, and the rake is going to take your money.

heck, I'm not even talking about when the board counterfeits your kicker or the like, I'm seeing (in PT) a lot of incidenced of identical hole cards sapping my "victories" like I'm dealt 63o in the blind, and just check into the flop, get 245, end up in showdown with UTG who shows... 63o. Amazing.

But I'm not bitter.

actually, you know, it would be profitable for the poker rooms to rig cards to give split pots... someone could make an interesting case for this...

to what you were saying, i wonder what the probabilities of having 2 identical hands in one hand.

no. resentment is a form of emotion that leads to tilt. Bad plan. Especially if you are pissed about NOT LOSING.

It's even worse when you have JT and the flop comes AKQ and someone calls your bet with Jx and the turn is the T. Or how about the time in 3/6 when my friend has AK and the flop is JTQ. The board hits running AK, but someone hit the flush! LOL.

It wouldn't be any more profitable than taking the same amount of rake but making one person the winner.

I would rather split the pot than lose the whole thing.

Well, I really hate it when I am on the bubble in a SnG and am all in with A8 and I make a 8 high straight and split with Q8.

Not like this happened an hour a go, or anything.

I hate it. I hate it even more when I had the best hand and the low card on the board pairs, counterfeiting my kicker.
