Default New to hosting games

I purchased these http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...%3AIT&rd=1
as my tournament chip set.

Was wondering your thoughts on these chips being used for a cash game. I think I would be willing to spend a few hundred on a cash game set if I had to. What do you guys think about these denominations if I were to use them for a cash game.

Ones that really caught my eye were the tri-colored ones at www.5stardeal.com, they look like they would be a sweet chip for a cash game.

Those chips are pretty typical plastic with metal inserts. You'll be fine.

Use those for a cash game. Depending on your stakes:
$5 = $.05
$25 = Quarters
$50 = 50c
$100 = $1

If you play higher stakes then use the $5 chips as $5 chips

God knows you have enough.... 1000 is actually overkill unless you want to host a game for 50 of your closest friends.
