One paid entrant.

I doubt it will even go. They got 3 players for A-5 draw. They got 15 for HORSE, 7 for PLO, etc, etc.

No advertising, no TV contract, no nada. They never ran sats (neither online nor live), they have a very apathetic management staff (shades of Orleans WPPA), they just don't seem to care. The poker room staff sits around and hems and haws about how no one is showing up, and they are making no money. They sit around boo-hooing all day, while doing nothing to promote their own festival.

I doubt the 10k will go, either, at this rate. One table, tops IMO, if it does fly at all.

Too bad.

I was out for the $1500 event, actually took 4th. I was pleasantly surprised at the great structure of that event. Only had 59 players though.

Yeah, that is why I went, the structure and the low juice. Those are the only two reasons I would even consider it. I wish more had turned out for HORSE, so I could have gotten paid, lol!

I'm personally going to stick to the Mirage tournaments while here. I had decided to come out for the Plaza and Mirage and sadly enough, there is absolutely no field in any of the Plaza events. Congrats on your finish in the one though Matt.
