Default Pushing too hard\\too little with AJo?

Live tourny $20 + 5 w\ unlimited rebuys in the first hour and add-on. Field of 66 with payout to top 6.

Final Table, 8 handed. Mostly loose passive. Chip leader is solid, 2nd in chips is very laggy. Villain in the BB loose passive.

Hero 3rd in chips with 23k but far behind chipleaders at 45k and 42k. Rest of the table 15k or less. blinds at 2k\4k

folds around to Hero in MP. Hero raises to 12k. BB moves all in for his last 12k. Hero calls 2k more.

Anything wrong with that play on the bubble?

No your play is fine. AJ from MP 8-handed in an unopened pot is a must raise.

I would push. I would also push a lot of hands from middle position with 5.75xBB, particularly if there was an ante. However, I would target a medium to large stack's blinds. This guy is pot committed to call with almost anything. However, AJo is too big a hand not to raise.

Yea, i push here with the blinds so high, your m is about 3 here (2k+4k /23k *.8) excluding the antes. Too big of a hand to lay down.

I thought about limping for about half a second but knew that was wrong. I almost pushed as well but figured a standard raise would take it there on the bubble.
