jaxup reads hands well, and is fairly hard to extract from, I think deception is worth a fair bit here, especially since he totally expects me to be 3betting most aces

it definetly got me an extra couple of BBs this time

I really hate you for this hand. On an uncoordinated flop call, you need to think about a turn check. I'd expect to get c/r'ed a significant amount of the time.

That's the thing - you're 3-betting alot of hands here and jaxup isn't going to give you credit for a decent one yet. I don't think that there's even that much deception value unless you happen to flop trip aces.

i agree completely with bottomset here. underplaying AK/AQ preflop is really good against tags. watch the pwnage.

as long as he could 3-bet some stuff that you'd have 6 outs or the best hand against (QJs, A9/A8/A7/A6/A5, low pairs), i think it is fine.

I think the flop call is good with you backdoor draws and your ace overcard. Is betting the turn bad?
