Default $55: A3s in the BB level 2

Our villian has not voluntarily put money into the pot for the first 15 hands of the STT.

I've been pretty active thus far, picking up most of my chips on a flopped set where I bet the flop, turn, and river. I've also shown down a hand recently where I was firing at a flop with K high.

I guess my thought when I read the hand was...

what hand is going to pay you off that you beat? I think check/calling this river is best.

The re-draw bet on the river wasn't the best idea. Check/call against a tightie might have been a better line.

Checking the "best" hand on the river is generally the right play. Raising the river with anything but the nuts is too often costly (especially in Omaha H/L). It happens enough to at least think about the catastrophy that awaits in NL as well. Food for thought.

Too bad he slow-rolled you with AQ here, but you have plenty of chips left to mid-stack your way to victory later.

Do you really think AQ bets 100 on the river?

What would you bet holding AQ (or A7/A5 for that matter)?

Any of those hands have you trapped. This is a "come on and push so I can call" type of bet. Inducing a push with the best hand isn't unusual.

Push and have your opponent fold? Check and win t490? Bet too much and induce a fold (winning t490)? Or bet the correct amount to force a call/push (hoping for push?).

If I were the villain, I would have bet a tad more with the implied holdings, but not a whole lot more to induce a raise...... But I'm strange that way.

And yet, now, he limps KQ or QJ from the CO?
