Default My weakness ...

PokerStars $3 re-buy Super Satellite No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (9 handed)

MP1 is a loosey-goosey clown,
CO is a TAG,

I've been playing very few hands and been blinded WAY down; BUT I've been on a tear during the last 3 hands, doubling through with KK and moving MP1 of a decent pot with A7 on a A47 board (dang).

I get scared by his min-re-raise. How do I move on from here?

Best,

McMelchior (Johan)

Your flop bet is small and may have induced a bluff raise or may make a smaller PP than KK think they are good.

I think you have to jam this flop, if someone called your PF raise with a T, well good for them.

Get all your chips in.

I decided the somewhat tight CO would have raised PF with AA, KK, & QQ, and folded Ax through AJ. That left AK, AQ and pocket pairs JJ and down ... of which I would expect to see the play in question with JJ (which I dominate), and TT and 99 (where I'm drawing to 2 outs).

JJ: 6 combinations, TT: 1, and 99: 3 - for a total of 10, of which I am way ahead of the 6 and way behind the 4. That's a push, right?

I intended to induce a bluff from MP1 with my weak lead on the flop ... good or bad idea?

Best,

McMelchior (Johan)

I must have mis-read the OP as I thought you didn't know whether or not to call the raise.

Sorry.

I think you are overshawdowing the fact that this is a 3+R. Play is much much worse. He could do this with 22 or even AK. Easy push.

No, you're right ... I didn't know weather or not to call the raise ... I wanted the MP1 (poor player, easy call) to bluff, not the TAG MP1 to min-raise me.

A move from one serious player seems much more serious than a move from a non-serious player ... and btw, an all-in would have been much easier to call as well ... hate those min-raises, the frequently signal trouble ...

Thank for the replies.

Best,
