Default Bally\'s sportsbook poker room

Anyone play in this poker room, located downstairs by the sportsbook? Just heard of it today while I was playing in the regular poker room. What's the play like there? I hear they have a $1-2 NL game -- on Sundays? Seems like it would be juicy, given it's mainly for people waiting for their bets to come in.

You have to specify Bally's AC or Bally's Las Vegas.

Well, there are no sportsbooks in AC so I think we can assume he meant Vegas.

im not sure exactly what you are saying, because it doesn't make sense. the bally's in vegas only has one gaming floor, and the bally's in AC doesn't have a sports book.

with that said, I'm quite sure that putting the words 1-2NL and casino in the same sentence always implies juicyness.

I'm sure this is Bally's Las Vegas. I have seen the sportsbook poker room. It has two or three tables, and looks like it's in a cool location to watch the football games. The only problem is I have never seen any poker games going. But, I've never been down there on Sunday afternoon either.

Anyone know what its scheduled hours are? It would be cool to play $2/4 there, and take advantage of the free drinks while I manage my parlays and teasers .

This is not correct.

Hi Doug,

Their hours are only on Sundays during football.

After football season they (poker tables) are coming out (at least that is the plan right now).

Best of Luck

Howard

PS, Did you see my post about the Luxor now having 14 tables (just thought I'd mention it for your site).

They have what they call "the green room." It's down by the sports book. I looked into having a private magoo-fest type tournament there, but there wasn't quite enough interest in the tournament to get it going (they would have done it tho). They do have games in that room during football season starting at 9am or so. It's a very nice room, sectioned off with glass, with plenty of TVs etc, plus a view of the sports book, would probably be a nice place to play, but I don't play much during the day so I haven't tried it yet.

They have poker in there now? When I was there last year that room looked like a VIP room for high-level sports players. It'd be nice for the atmosphere if they made that into the poker room. Unfortunately, it'd kill the action that's always great there.
