Flop: (t9343) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Turn: (t9343) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) River: (t9343) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Final Pot: t9343 Main Pot: t9343 (t9343), between Hero, BB and CO. > Pot won by BB (t9343). Results in white below: Hero has 7c Ac (high card, ace). BB has Jh Qh (one pair, jacks). CO has Ad 5c (high card, ace). Outcome: BB wins t9343. Previous 5 hands CO folded, including in BB and SB positions (didnt call 2.5-3BB raises each time). I didn't think pushin could hurt. Was BB correct to call my reraise? Dont much like playin for 2.5 hrs only to get popped less than 10 spots outside the bubble. |

Re: educate me
stop being results oriented.
this is a standard push. His call is very mediocre, but I don't think its crazy or anything. |

result-oriented?....arent a majority of us performance and output driven. in the instance of poker, I play a certain manner and I expect other players to react accordingly to produce an end result. how should I orient myself?

Re: educate me
which brings me back to my original question...did - 1) I make the correct decision based on the raisers recent hand history, my position & my/his stack size and, 2) the BB make a play that provided him/her positive expectation based on the two hands played in front of him.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah, you made the correct push. BB's play was bad based on your likely ranges, but i'm pretty sure his call is pretty profitable given that you two happened to have A5 and A7s. |
