The article I read said about 1,000,000 Party accounts, but that Party estimated that 400,000 were active accounts.

Anyone care to speculate? I have no idea. I guess it would be a good idea to break it down into general catagories based on stakes.

[/ QUOTE ]

According to Sports Illustrated, there are roughly 1.9 million people playing online a day. The number has likely grown to about 2 million since the research they did was done (this is not unreasonable as they also quote the daily number being at 83,000 a day in 2003 before the Moneymaker explosion), and one can guess at the number of 2+2ers. If the number is around 30,000 members then that would be roughly 0.015%.

You're right, this is a stupid thread. We are all just taking guesses.

30,000 / 2,000,000 = 1.5%

the number sounds reasonable imo.

doesn't 2+2 have like 60,000 acounts?

[/ QUOTE ]

This number is way too high. Mason posted in early March that 2+2 had just hit 25,000 accounts.

These numbers seem very very generous.
