Interesting hand headsup
PP NL 200, don't have history so i'm going by memory.
Opponent is EXTREMELY aggro. Stack sizes ~$200 Hero is BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Button folds SB (villain) raises to $8. Hero calls. Flop ($15) A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB bets $14 Hero Calls $14 Turn ($40) 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB bets $40 Hero Calls $40 River ($120)6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB pushes Hero Calls Thoughts? My thinking was that I'd trap preflop by not announcing I have a hand. I hated the ace flopping but I just felt the chances of me being ahead were so great I couldn't fold here, and I'd caught him on a stone bluff a couple of days earlier with a set where he bet a draw till the river, and pushed on the busted draw....not sure he knows i've got this note on him, but it's why i'm at the table....so we know he's capable of having nothing here, as well as having second or third pair. |

Re: Interesting hand headsup
what was the river card?
if it wasnt a king this is very read dependent. i think u need to evaluate what percentage of the time he does this with hands u beat, and if he will take this line with a strong hand... |
