Revenge on the fish.
Recall the disaster that was the weekend which had the fish sucking out from hell on me. Well, I happened across some of the fish tonight at a couple of $0.25/$0.50 NL table. AP is having trouble with hand histories tonight so no play by play.
It should be enough that I was playing 3 tables with an inital buy-in of $40 each. I cashed out the bad table at $42.01 after about 2hrs (uber tight any raise was just about getting the blinds). The other two tables more than doubled up in the same hour. No suckouts tonight. Those making pot size raises w/ 92o after I flopped a broadway (with AK pocket and good preflop raises) were punished throughly. I feel much better now. Nothing like a table of calling stations. Most frequently heard line - I knew you had it, but I had to see it just to be sure. Clearing another $20 in bonus was just a nice extra. $45/hr ($55 w/ bonus money) playing $0.25/$0.50 NL ain't a bad couple of hours. |

Re: Revenge on the fish.
Just remember this night the next time you get sucked out on ceaselessly...People tend to only remember that harsh beats, and not the times when things go exceptionally well.

Re: Revenge on the fish.
good idea. Might need to print this out and post it on my wall for just such an evening.
Knowing it's a downswing and not being torqued are two different events. |
