My bit of bad publicity for InterCasinoPoker
If anyone knows how to get ahold of somebody at InterCasino that can remedy this ridiculous problem, please let me know.
I recently discovered I had left $100 in my InterCasino Poker account a little over a year ago. They started taking $2 a week/month (not sure) out of my account because it's now considered dormant. I had to call support to get a new password because I don't remember the dang thing. After trying to remember how much I deposited and what method I finally got close enough to get a new password. I have $86 left in the account. Problem is that I can't withdraw it without a PIN. I no longer remember my PIN. I have a new address so can't have the PIN sent to the old address. I could just change my address and get a new PIN right? Here's the catch...For "security reasons" you can not change your address (this means no new PIN) unless you have less then $20 in the account. So I have to LOSE $66 before I can access my funds. Sound legit? Screw InterCasino...It's the first site I'm officially boycotting. I hope you'll do the same. |

If you live in the USA, just have them send it to the old address.
If you filed a change of address form, you get all your mail forwarded for 12 months. Unless ICP stamps the envelope with "do not forward" or something akin to that, you'll get your PIN. |

Legitimate financial institutions often have "maintenance fees" that are worse than this, even for accounts that are not dormant. I'm sure this recurring $2 charge is in the terms somewhere. |

Re: My bit of bad publicity for InterCasinoPoker
Good point Gusly, but I'm not a very organized person and never filed a Change of address.
The software wouldn't even let me transfer the funds into the Poker system to play with it, but it sure let me use it in the Casino. I blew it in about 10 minutes playing Blackjack and dollar slots. I've actually been curious about Internet casinos, though I don't care to use one again. Maybe I could have eventually got the money, but whatever...they got their way. If I would have doubled it in their casino I would have found a way to get it out or at least made a big stink trying...believe me. But really, it shouldn't be that much of a hassle. That's not a way to keep players. They got my $86, but they lost me as a player (What I'm worth in rake is a lot more than $86) permenantly and hopefully my post lost them a few more. And yes IPP...I'm glad you feel the same. A lot of time there's posts on here with the general sentiment of "It's worth the hassle for the security". This isn't about security. This is about them keeping my money in the system for as long as possible and forcing me to lose it in their casino. Bad business fellas. My last deposit there was $2500. They should be kissing my arse. |

However, now that your account is at zero and will stay there, in a few months their software will take note of the fact that you're not contributing to their bottom line anymore and might send you a nice bonus so you'll start gambling there again. So don't close the account and send any nasty emails! Just let it sit there. |

Re: My bit of bad publicity for InterCasinoPoker
If you are going to deposit money into a site, I think you have a responsibility to keep the important information to confirm your identity intact. That includes writing down the PIN # in a safe place.
If I was them, I'd be pissed at you for wasting my time on this issue when its your own damn fault. |

Re: My bit of bad publicity for InterCasinoPoker
what i would do is find a friend who has a crypto account and dump the rest of your money to him, and have him give you cash or transfer whatever is left in your account to you through a different method.
patient77 it is illegal but if you aren't planning on playing their again, no harm. |
