The stakes keep getting raised so I'm gonna try the satellite route. I'm not sure how smart it is to be withdrawing profits from my online accounts to fund this effort but I miss the feel of real chips. Their attendance and pool records will be shattered of course, here is the history:

Only 14 events this year, just one with less than a $565 entry fee and there are no longer any mixed game events. Total entries probably won't jump much but the overall prize pool could hit $10 million.

I won't be surprised if the main event prize pool alone hits $10M. $7M minimum. Quite likely to be the 2nd highest prize pool in the history of poker, at least for a few months.

I'm thinking seriously about going down on the Wednesday before the main event and trying to win a seat, playing the 565 NL on Thursday and more sats on Friday.

Does anyone know if there will be sats other than the single table and 2 tables they described on the website?

They have the act 3 supers for $1020+30. They give out as many seats as the prize pool's worth, then as many act 3 coupons, then the rest in cash. The last weekly one is this thursday. The then run every day from the 26th through the 9th, on the 11th, and twice on the 10th and 12th.
