this is clearly a +EV proposition. say what you want

What evidence do you have to support this statement?
Sure, it sounds like you know what you're talking about.
But you really don't have much to stand on here.

Again, if Dutch Boyd was respected in the poker community, he wouldn't have to get staked on Ebay for a measly 4k.
The fact that he has to go to these lengths shows you how little he is respected by the players with the money.

Cola, I think you've missed the key concept in this. The fact that Dutch Boyd is likely to fail is what makes it a positive EV proposition from his perspective.

But...If Dutch really wants to make money, I suggest he go see "The Producers"

Did I?

I have no doubt it's +EV for him.

EDIT-
Maybe you were just trying to be funny.

I think thats what Bogey meant. People were knocking Dutch Boyd and he was simply saying that given his ability, this is probably a smart move on his part.

I'm not so sure.
Maybe he will come back and clarify his statement for us.

Give Dutch credit for not being concerned about his image. That guy has no shame at all.

Says on his blog that he has the money but just wouldn't mind reducing his variance.

This guy is really some piece of work. First lying about his credentials and stealing peoples' money at PokerSpot, now he is broke and ready to cheat people again.

My bet is that he will end up seriously injured or in jail for all his shennanigins (sp).

Did anyone read his response to Neil Ross on his blog? Man that stuff makes me want to punch him in the nose.

Could someone post that blog site? Or that specific deal with Ross?
