Default Ho Hum 5/10 NL

10 handed 5/10 NL Online

MP (1.2kish) makes it 40, I call (cover) on the button with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], BB calls, a limper calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Pot: 160ish

Checked to the MP raiser who bets 50, I raise to 200, folded to MP who reraises to 400, I fold, standard?

It kind of sucks thinking that the only hands I lose to are the case aces or the case kings. But do I want to put in all my chips hoping for a split pot? Am I missing something?

Oh yeah, villain is very TAGish, unsure about his capability to throw in a huge bluff.

to 125?

How big do you want to make this pot and what's the flop play if you brick?

AK's are giving me big headaches in NL.

Thanks,

Nigel

3/4 pot?

if called, let's say a Q48r flop type thing, give up on turn?

sorry for the basic questions, this hand just happens to be one that has not worked out well for me when I have reraised it (haven't played too much NL). I either flop an an A or K and they fold to a flop bet, or I brick and piss away 125-250ish on the flop.

Ok, I really like reraising AK from now on.

What kind of hands am I beating given the way this hand played out?
