Is it possible to get a new Neteller account number? (X-post)

(Cross posted from internet forum becuause i realized a lot of you in here might have done this for similar reasons recently)

Is it possible to get a new Neteller account number?
If so, how?

I opened a new party poker account and closed my old one, but now I can't use Neteller unless I can get a new neteller account number. Has anyone successfully done it? If so, how?

I did it. Opened a new Neteller then called them up, told them to transfer from the other one. They verified in a day or 2 and closed the old one out.

Also did this to go from CAD neteller to USD neteller without an issue.

Did you clear out your old neteller account first, or did you just tell them to move the money for you?

thats different, they aknowledge this as an acceptable reason.

I did this about a week and a half ago. I left $1k in my old Neteller. I was prepared to tell them I didn't trust some online gambling sites with my Neteller number, but they never asked. They verified some details and in a few days I had a new account I could access. I even reminded them to transfer my Neteller points so I could enter one of those drawings that I never win. When I went on a trip I used many unsecure connections and had them change it. Tell them you feel your account number has been compromised, I am sure they wont hassle you.

I got a new account in 10 minutes but then they balked at transferring the money. They unlocked my original account so I could pull the money out of it, then they re-opened my new account after I called them back.

Didn't try the "account numbers have been compromised" angle, however.

Either way, you can do it with out a ton of hassle.
