First hand, I'd make the call on the river.

Second hand, I'd bet on that turn, its probably as scary to him as it is to you.

I agree, call the river 1st hand, but what's up with the tiny flop bet?
2nd hand, I like the check on the turn because usually he will bluff at it on the riv. I don't think there's any merit to betting the turn.

Exactly why I felt I misplayed it. I actually wasnt' scared of it at all, but I knew i was representing it with my pre-flop raise. Checking that was bad.

The tiny flop bet was a typo. Meant to bet 200, which is still pretty small for that kind of board, but it felt right. Me and my stupid fingers.

I have to assume that the initial raise in hand one was just you being a bully? If so, I'd rather do this from LP, but I stink at big stack play and will defer to the smart kids.

I have a hard time reading his river bet in hand 1. It doesn't look like it wants to be called, so I'm actually inclined to get him all in. This is not one of the cases in which you will only be called if you are beaten - he is tied to this pot. He may have been drawing to the str8 or flush, though if that's the case he probably would have checked behind on the turn. I guess I call.

Hand Two: Again, I'm too tight to like a UTG raise with KQ. Bet that turn. Yuck, but call the river.

neither of those raises is me being a bully. It's a deep stacked tourney, i have a huge stack, and i'm a fairly laggy player that likes to play post-flop. Hasn't been working well for me lately but i will always stick to it cause its the most fun for me.

Hand 1 I hate the size of the continuation bet. Way too small.
On the turn just fold or raise him. CO is representing the Ace and it seems like he is willing to put his stack in the middle with this hand. I would fold here. What was the purpose for calling here??? You have middle pair.

Hand 2

Bet the turn.
