Default $25NL QQ please comment

I have been at the table for about 50 hands
UTG was 38/18 and not note worthy yet
BB was 48/8 and had only been here about 25 hands seeing flops but not too aggresive

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter

UTG ($24.40)
MP ($17.82)
Hero ($26.20)
SB ($7.50)
BB ($20.80)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. MP posts a blind of $0.25. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG calls $0.25, MP (poster) checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $1.75, UTG calls $1.75, MP folds.

Flop: ($6.35) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12</font>, BB calls $18.80 (All-In), UTG folds, Hero calls $6.80.

Seems pretty standard. After making the raise you were priced in so if your beat your beat. Nothing you can do about it. At the 25s the BB could have anything - very often just TPGK.

Yeah, I wouldn't have raised, but once you did, you had to call his push.

Why wouldn't you want to raise in this spot?
