Insults suck, but right in your post you referred to them as "faggots", so I wonder what you are asking. Are you asking for justification, if we all get this and that makes it OK? I am with you, people at tables need to play their own cards, and let you play yours HOWEVER you wish. I mean seriously, I love playing with all-in strategists! It adds action and keeps it interesting.

I usually get a lot of flak in the chat.

For my play and for my avatar (a picture of my wife ... we're in our 40ties, and I guess the idea that someone can find a women that age attractive enough to put her pic on the net grosses the teenie-pups out).

Anyway, as long as it's not too mean spirited I play along with it ... at least as long as I'm not tilting.

But ... I certainly have my limit. I have emailed support countless times, and I don't see 'rattyness' as a liability here.

I don't take crap easy in real life, and I don't see why a group of immature "small-dick-attitude" mental pygmies should be given carte blanche to harass others on the internet - and especially in an online card room, where we'd rather have everybody be happy and have a good time.

This is especially important when it comes to expressions of bias towards specific gender, race, sexual orientation etc., and it goes whether the victim can identify with the attack or not.

... That said, most of the time I simply have the chat turned off ...

Best,

McMelchior (Johan)

I didn't call them faggots. I said they call me a skillless faggot.

This is, of course, if you're bugged by this behavior. I personally find it highly amusing. I tend to start throwing out Shakespearean insults, just to fan the flames:

"You're only saying that because you're a poxy, gutter-born hedge pig."

No profanity, so I know I'M not losing chat privileges. But they often do

I so love putting my opponents on tilt, especially during the rebuy period. But perhaps my mean streak is a tad bit wider than yours.

I usually ask them how many times they have won. It gets quiet after that.

Do you ever show your cards when you move in and they all fold?

You are absolutely right, and I apologize. I missed an important word in that sentence.
