I had two goals: move up to 10/20, and crush it.

So . . . halfway there .

moved up to 4 tabling the 100's 6 max. I'm only beating it though. I'd like to crush it.

year is half over and ive already hit my goal.

Me too.

I do have some unfinished business though. Still need to learn NL, but that can wait. Right now spending some time learning stud 8 and 2-7 triple draw...which will be followed by omaha 8 and then finally NL.

I didn't write in the original post, but my big goal for the year was to win a seat into the WSOP main event, which I accomplished. My other results this year have far surpassed anything I would have guessed, thanks to some very large MTT scores.

My goals were to move up to and beat 15/30, and to get better at MTTs, and win one. I got my MTT win last month, and moved up to 15/30 2 weeks ago, so I'm looking good for this year.

I made 17k last year playing almost exclusively 2/4, so this year I made it a goal to make at least 20k and try 3/6 and 5/10. Right now I am only at 7500 or so. Bad beats? Overextending myself? Nope, actually for most of 2005 I've had a very strong urge to just not play. I'd start up party, then realize, Hmm, I really don't feel like playing. I've played a lot more starting in June. Going into June I'd only made about 4k. Now that I the summer off, I'll probably be playing more, though I doubt I'll hit my 20k mark, even though I probably will be playing at higher limits than last year (3/6 and 5/10).
