Lol, and in the previous hand, A high called down. Was the guy with the queens watching?

To a bet and a raise, that's usually the correct play. If he couldn't get Darden out of the hand, he would have lost to Darden't two-pair anyway.

I don't mind the cold-call with QQ pre-flop. With judicial use, it can be a good play. Of course, it's far better with AA or KK.

I wasn't really paying attention to the hand, just heard "calls with A WIRED MONSTER PAIR OF POCKET QUEENS" and then turned my head to see him fold.

In that context it was the right play post flop, but it still made me giggle.

Forgive my ignorance b/c I play SSHE, but how does Darden call that guy down on the first hand? Is it because he probably has a read on him from previous play in the tourney, or was the guy's bluff a common bluff line?

Just curious because I prolly would have folded to the turn bet.

See, the same guy just made it work with JJ.

The bet by the guy with AJ on the river was poor after he's been called twice. AJ is the nut no-pair. If somebody is calling a bet on the flop and turn on a drawless board, they're usually not folding the river nearly enough with a better hand.

Yeah, it must have been knowledge from other hands in the tourney.

That guy has a tell, when he's bluffing his hair gets uglier than usual.

This David guy is awesome, that two is WRONG.
