Default My BASIC guide to beating each level ($30/50/100/200\'s)

30+3:
1) Stay tight
2) If under 10BB, push/steal to survive if it's +EV (ie: use ICM).
3) Do not get fancy: No pvs, no impetus, no stop n go, etc. They will call.

50+5:
Same, except use fancy plays (albeit sparingly). Also, need some ability to play post flop, since you start off with 25% more chips than 30+3.

100+9:
- Same as 50+5, but also need reads, and recognize situations where there free chips for you to scoop up.
- Blinds also call min raises and 2.5BB raises alot more.

200+15:
Play like Gigabet=> Fancy plays galore. It's not what cards you have, it's what you're representing.

Any other generalizations?

i havent played the 50s really but i think the 109s and 215s play more alike then 109s and 55s would, but that is just a guess on real limited experience at 55s.

I think the people at the 30 + 3s are only slightly better than the people at the 5 + 1s, so yeah I think your 33 strategy is right on.

You either haven't played the 5s, or havent played the 33s enough: they defitely don't play the same-- Iguarauntee that not a single poster will agree with you...

It's still possible to make a profit playing <30+3's, so I don't see why they're a waste of time if your not willing to risk 30+3 per game, and trying to walk before you can run.
