Default Stars $45K hand - what now?

Villain in this hand had been very LAG since the end of the rebuy period. At the time, I was pretty sure AA, KK, QQ and AK were out of the question, as he was the third limper into an unraised pot initially. Is he putting me on a BB pot steal? Was my raise too big, therefore committing me to the pot?

Thoughts about my raise, his range of hands, whether or not this is a call for me, and perhaps a better line for next time if there is one.

900 in the pot and you raise to 2k? That seems a little overexcessive. I'd raise to 1.2k here.

This is an instacall in my book. Yeah, it actually could be AA sometimes, but it'll be random hands a lot of times, including AJ and A10.

So I guess the question is, is he putting me on AK and expecting to race, since the other three limpers already have folded, or is he putting me on a blind steal?

I think, if I could do it again, I'd raise to 1K or something and evaluate from there.

If he has a mid pocket pair he is putting you on AK expecting a race. If he has AJ-A8 he is putting you on a low pocket pair expecting a race.

Thanks for the feedback. Been wondering since last night if I overplayed it. Guess my raise was a little to big.

FWIW, I called, he flipped over 33, I flopped an A and a K, he turned a 3, and rivered another 3 for quads.

The only thing I keep thinking is that maybe if I only pump it up to 800 or 1000, maybe he just calls there with 33, I bet half the pot on the flop, and he folds. But if he sees the turn on this hand, I'm losing anyways. Cause I probably can't get away from the hand after the flop if we get there without all the chips in the middle, anyways.

Thanks for the feedback again, guys.
