Default Sklansky\'s article - question

Ok, so I read Sklansky's article on whether it is correct to jam on the flop, or wait and jam on the turn.

I'm having a hard time distilling the principles out.

so far i get
- whether you jam now or wait depends mainly on how much your equity can change from flop to turn

- if your equity will always be >50% then always jam

- run math in each scenario to see what to do

any others, did i miss anything?
