This is how I would play it. Everyone is either drawing dead or you are drawing dead, so there is really no need to get aggressive. By not betting the turn you a) save $$$ if you get check/raised or raised and b) might induce a bluff on the river from a hand that would fold to a turn bet.

good stuff brad, exactly what i was thinking at the time. also, i might get a hand that would have folded the turn to call a river bet (if EP had checked) because my hand will look more like a bluff or one pair type hand than a flush.

if button had bet the turn, i'm betting out on the river and calling a raise.

you should bet the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think checking the turn is correct but am willing to be convinced otherwise

[ QUOTE ]
i think a raise is also appropriate on the river, but its close.

[/ QUOTE ]

i also think it's really close, honestly i'm not sure which one is better.

I like this.

By checking the turn, you were able to gain info that the button does not have the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and you also avoided a potential check-raise by the EP. Avoiding the check-raise saves you money potentially, because it's not an auto-fold if you bet the turn and get check-raised.

By just calling the river bet, you will possibly pick up an overcall from the button. Gives you a chance to win the most and lose the least.
