i raise pre-flop and call the river - posters must be punished

i played another 200 odd hands in this game this week - pokertracker says 1,100 hands total - i reckon they are awful - it reminds me a lot of the 5/10 6 max game of 2-3 years ago - outrageously passive

I raise preflop and pay off.
Your hand is better than a random hand and he doesnt seem to be very bright so a raise seems in order.

1) Yeah, I raise pf. K9 > random hand.

2) I call and expect a dumb two pair. But I think probably at least 1 in 7 times I'm pleasantly surprised by a bluff or a worse K.

I lean towards betfolding in this type of river situation, until an unknown player shows he should be called. Especially if I was to play at a more passive type game like the the 36 shortbus. I don't really know for sure, but I suspect that this could be a better strategy than calling until a player shows you that you should be folding.

Think about it.

To Give an unknown credit until shown otherwise, or to not give an unknown credit till shown otherwise? I mean we know the standard 3/6 player isnt going to be bluffraising the river that often......why not treat the unknown as standard from the getgo as SOP?
