Default PLO8 big pot hand

From memory. PLO8 $200 hand

EP ($69) limps $2 He is loose VPIP 43, overplays A2/A3 hands. He has bought in short and busted about 4 times so far and appears to be on tilt

MP ($260) minraises $4 He is loose aggressive and has been doing this occasionally. It is most likely a hand like 2357 doing a a little feeler bet to push out pure trash hands, but is not a strong hand.

Button ($250) minraises $8 He is loose VPIP60 and bad and has not been min-reraising much. It is likely an A2 hand that thinks its best and is pumping the pot but could be a wider range.

Hero ($600) Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero pots it to $33 Hero has been moderately tight VPIP 28 or so, and has won some big pots recently with reasonable hands that were not the nuts. (jammed A3JJ preflop vs. shortstack; jammed A348 on 48T flop heads up + was called by bare A2 and scooped; jammed AA2 head to head to scoop). As usual, he has been called a donkey several hands before this and is likely to get action.

EP calls $33
MP folds
Button calls $33

Flop comes K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] pot = $102, 3 players

Hero bets $40
EP quickly calls $40 and is all-in
Button hesitates and calls $40

Turn is 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] pot =$190, 3 players

Hero bets $150
Button folds

Default Re: PLO8 big pot hand

Looks risky--maybe you pushed button off Q9 or two pair or even a set, but the side pot is dry so what was the point? Unless that short stack decided to put the rest of his stack in with nothing but a flush draw (not terribly unlikely, actually), my hunch is you'll just get your $150 turn bet back.

Still, good bet for image purposes.
