there are still half a dozen rooms still open in and around the ctiy. mostly 5/10 NL.

the only downside is that games are generally 'dealers choice' and 4/5 card omaha is played

In a light thread hijack, you Montrealers should head down to Akwesasne Casino, across the bridge from Cornwall, ON, if you haven't gone before.

NL tournaments every night. It's probably an hour from the west end of the island.

that place has never been worth the drive.

rock garden 2/5 game, terrible blind structure. etc etc
allthough the mid-limit games arn't terrible

plus crossing the border is ALWAYS problematic

I can assure you it is not a rock garden... and what mid-limit games are you talking about... it's NL or 3-6 limit... sounds like you haven't been there in a while!

ahhh. havn't been in around 10months or so. but as far as i can remember the 2/5 NL was a extremly tight game. (although my definition may differ. being a total LAG and all)

they used to spread 5/10 limit (with kill) and it was quite juicy the few times i played it (years ago)
