Default Flop decision w/ AKs, play along

I have no reads on the villian here. This is my third or fourth hand at the table, and I just had an AA chopped by a board straight. Therefore, I wanted to know if I played this hand correctly, or are there elements of tilt here....

*sigh*...the limp-raiser. I hate this animal.

Check the flop. He either thinks he's tricky or could be a raise-monkey. I tend to put limp-raisers on AA right off the bat. But I also like to see.

Interested to see what others think.

hes not folding to a bet, and you have ace high. take the free card.

Bet the flop, take the free river instead. That's worth more to you.

(We can tell you bet because your text is red. )

Yes it appears that the limp raiser is looking for the check raise. Take the free card.

I have the same inclination. You aren't ahead of anything reasonable.

I think we need to consider the times that he's setting you up for the turn checkraise and a bet here will let you check the turn behind.

i don't really care if i get check raised here, so i bet.

primarily because there is a MUCH greater chance than 9% that he simply folds here. especially if he's the "i'm limp reraising with garbage but dropping the flop if i don't connect" kind of guy.

i don't know why this is in color.

I'm confused, how are you going to get a free card on the turn out of that?

He checks, you bet, he CR, you call.

He bets turn.

I don't see him checking the turn very often.
