Default Hand to Hand Combat

In regards to getting late in tourneys and all-in situations or heads up (hence this forum) does anyone have a list of what hands are best. I of course know AA->KK, etc. but I'm wondering when it gets down to KJs vs. A10 kind of things. I know it has to be different than the Sklansky rankings because I'll take A10 (group 6) over 98s (group 4) late in tourney or heads up to go all in with.

I want to create a ranking list than I can easily glance at and figure where I stand regardless of opponent's holdings. Thanks for any help as to how to figure this out.

Default Re: Hand to Hand Combat

A very clever person gave us an acronym here, but i can't remember it anymore. In shorthanded games (HU included) always shoot from the H.I.P. Those 3 things are what's important in starting hand selection for short games. H = high card power, I = table image P = posistion.
