Anyone notice obscene tightness at low buy-in PS SnGs?
I've played 4 5+.50s today and they are ridiculously tight. The last few days was the same story. Any idea what's going on?
Do people use these SnGs to clear bonii?? If I could get anything better than 83o I could play much more aggressive, but I'm running as cold as I've ever run.

I've noticed the exact opposite. It doesn't make sense for them to play SNG's any differentto clear bonii, as they get a certain number of points per SNG entered, not per SNG hand played.

That's why I think they enter the tournament and nut peddle into the money (hopefully). Seriously they are as tight as I've ever seen a low limit SNG. I just had the blinds folded around to me 4 times in 2 orbits 8 handed.

I, on the other hand, was just playing a $5.50 where I raised the $20 bb up to $150 w/7 limpers already in the pot.

Especially with stacks 10x deeper than the raise. Edit: 69th post, dood. 69 allllllllways plays.

Players can clear bonuses on Poker Stars playing SNGs now. Not that it should affect the way they play.

When you clear bonii at Stars w/ SNGs you just get 100% of your rakeback. A low limit SNG is a pretty horrible way of clearing bonus, 4 tabling you'd clear a whopping $2 an hour.
