Yeah, except if you re-raise preflop and get it all in there, you will make money in the long run. If you call preflop and then get all your money in as a 4-1 underdog you will lose money in the long run.

What he said...see the difference? Yes you would have lost either way...but one way you get your money in as a 4-1 favorite...the way you played it, you get your money in as a HUGE underdog.
