Pink Chip is back, baby!!!
Starting next weekend...
The PINK CHIP game returns to the Trop, on Fridays-Sundays, according to a flyer posted at the Trop this weekend. There was a stated start time on each day but I don't remember what it was. That game is legendary. I plan on picking it apart. |

$7.50-$15 game
Not at the Trop, it's $2.50 chips for a $7.50-$15 game.

Re: Pink Chip is back, baby!!!
Meh, even when it used to "run" it never really did (since last summer at least). I wouldn't get too excited about it. I think any of the Trop regulars playing bigger than 6/12 that were left have managed to find their way over to the Borg by now.

I can't wait for this. I have to figure out how to get my girlfriend to AC for a second weekend in a row! Man I want to play it right now!

[/ QUOTE ] I think the Trop is trying to reinvent itself, they have had some sizeable NL there recently, Even got a 10-20 NL going one time I was there a few weeks ago, And last time I played there they had a couple of 5-10 NLs. Their lack of limit games is surprising at the middle limits, and non existant at higher limits. With all the space they have there they should really have more games |

I hope it works out for them.... but in all honesty I share Evan's concern. As long as 6/12 and 10/20 are spread in the same room, the pink chip game doesn't stand a chance in the long run. Maybe they can borrow some $2 chips from Foxwoods and play 8/16,too. Then they could get some of the $3's from Commerce and start a 9/18. Yea, that's a good plan! |

Re: Pink Chip is back, baby!!!
This is just a demonstration of the retardedness of East Coast rooms. The Trop has decided that they are going to spread a 3 chip/6 chip game with a dedicated chip denomination. Welcome to California. Yawn.

Re: Pink Chip is back, baby!!!
I don't get this. Why the heck not have an 8/16 with $2 chips? Don't need a new chip denomination plus it puts more chips in play anyway. More chips in the pot = more action.
