Just plain old bad shuffling. The kind where you see the guy fumbling with the cards and the shuffle goes clack, clack, clack and you know the cards arent being shuffled properly. 52 pickup between hands would be more effective than their shuffling.

I like the suggestions about having 2 shufflers on the table, But how do I tell them they they suck and I dont need their services anymore? Thanks for the tips.
