I play at the Taj alot. I know everybody likes to complain about it but it really isn't that bad a place to play. However, if they wanted it to be, it could be really really nice again. I know that Trump announced alot of work to be done on it but who knows if that will ever happen.
...I just wish they would throw out some of those old stud tables...

[/ QUOTE ] they would have to invest millions to make that place "nice" again. its a garbage dump, but they games are high action and the lists are pretty short usually. thats the only reason i play there, often over borgata even.

[ QUOTE ] but they games are high action and the lists are pretty short usually [/ QUOTE ] Interesting thought - the last time I was (Saturday) there they had 1 10-20 tables running and 1 20-40 table running both with lists of 6 or more. I called the poker room at the Borgata and they had 6 10-20, tables 4 20-40 tables, a 40-80 and a 80-160 runnig. The action has gone to the Borg without a question.

If you want to play 300/600 at the Taj wait until your 71st birthday and get really good at 7 card stud. If you want to play 300/600 hold 'em go to Borgata. Last time I was at the Taj not for a tournament I played on the one 20/40 table that was going which they had trouble keeping full. Better than the Trop at least where you would be lucky to find a 10/20 game going.

Taj typically has 4 or 5 20-40's on weekends and usually a 50-100 game also. Does Borg usually have multiple 40-80's on Sat night? What's the wait for them like? What about 80-160?
