Default When you know they\'ve got aces

At what buy-in could you actually fold this flop? Could you ever fold here pre-flop after the mini-reraise? This was an 11, so I just cannot ever force myself to fold QQ here... The funny thing is, I was so sure he had aces, I was almost rooting for an overcard to come on the flop.

Anybody get away from this at any point in this hand? Even though I was "sure" he had aces, I just cannot see ever folding here in an 11 or 22. Thoughts?

You're cubsfan? Right.

Meh, I can't see this at an $11 either.

Yeah, that's me... oops! I don't think i could fold at a 22 either.

As I try to improve as a poker player (and I think I'm improving by leaps and bounds), I just don't want to start making reads that over the long run turn me into a "big laydown" wimp, you know? But here, I was so sure he had aces...

Argh...

I guess I don't use the word 'sure' like you do.

As for the hand, without knowing the player well, I wouldn't fold.

Push preflop at a $11 or a $22 or a $33. Probably at a 55 as well.

Interesting question is with Jacks I think. Queens are a bit too strong not to push.

That's why I put the quotes around "sure"... because I know that I can never be certain. But it was a very strong feeling.

I'm not pretending to be able to look into my opponents' souls!

It seems pretty standard to me, this. With JJ I would just call, and still be faced with a difficult decision on the flop, but meh.

I play at the 22's and have seen people min-reraise with A3 and 44 so don't give anyone too much credit until they deserve it.
