You may well be right there. I swear, I don't recall seeing much of anything in 7CSFAP about odds and their calculation.

in one of those 2 books there are some charts about odds of hitting your flushes and straights depending on the number of dead cards you can see.

I do see exactly what I am looking for on pages38 and 39 of Theory of Poker. Only it doesn't go far enough. If the info given for Number of Spades beside your own and Chances for a flush were given on 4th street and maybe 5th street as well, then that would be great. Same for Straights. I am not sure of the math to try figuring this out on my own and was hoping someone would know of a chart showing this.
