Default Value Bet this river?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) converter

UTG ($32.15)
UTG+1 ($27.55)
MP1 ($36.55)
MP2 ($4)
MP3 ($26.55)
CO ($29.55)
Button ($7.15)
SB ($21.85)
Hero ($25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
5 folds, CO calls $0.25, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.75) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.75, CO calls $0.75, SB calls $0.75.

Turn: ($3) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, CO calls $3, SB calls $3.

River: ($12) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: $12

No read on SB, he's new to table, his call on the turn has me quite worried, I have 1400 hands or so with CO, very rockish 22.24/3.27 and I'm very comfortable he has QJ, QT or JT here as I have seem him call down with two pair on a scary board like this on more than one occasion. With SB's check on the river do I have an easy value bet of 1/2 pot or so?

a bet of 9 or so is in order on the river imo.

After a PSB was called 3 ways on the turn when the club hit I was really worried. SB's call scared me into submission here, without reads any thoughts as to what SB has here? smaller two pair?

I definitely think SB would had c/r the flop or the turn with a hand that beat yours.

Thanks for the responses guys, not value betting the river is a huge leak right now, I thought this hand was a good example of my actions when "running scared." I find myself checking in spots that are clearly value bets and "value betting" in spots where c/c river would be better. I think this is mostly due to my lack of experience 8-tabling, I've been trying to keep it at 4-6 tables recently, but its so tempting to fill up that second monitor But I digress, Results:

SB tabled TT for a flopped set (wtf?)
CO tabled QJo and MHIG!

So in short, I'm thinking fewer tables = more BB/hour. I mean thats 12-24 bucks in river calls I missed out on there.
