technically it was the urge, because I went to high school with most of the band members, otherwise, i think the only "real" concert ive ever been too is the dixie chicks (because i was trying to nail this chick, and she like them alot)...it wasnt worth it.

The Cure, but Red Hot Chili Peppers and X opened.

X was great, and Red Hot Chili Peppers came out in nothing but sox on there jocks.

I would go see the opening acts anytime, Cure, I would pass on.

damn when was that? x is some quality old school [censored].

I also saw Iron Maiden, at Long Beach CA. The same year, it was the show the recorded the Live After Deatch album. Great show, I would see them again.

greatest live album in the history of live albums, although my avatar makes me biased...

[/ QUOTE ]

It was even better live. Did not realize it at the time, how good it was, because I did not really have anything to compare it to. It is in my top 5 concerts of all time.

I saw GNR at the Wiskey, back before anyone had ever heard of them. The Whiskey is a tiny night club. This was before they hit the drugs hard, and it was a great show.
