If I'm vilain and have 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], then I would raise. And I would fold anything else since I know that hero has the nut flush. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Yes sometimes mindless aggression is the best option. Sometimes I like to think about a hand though. We know Hero doesn't have the Ace[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and if he doesn't have the 5 let's at least give him credit for the King. That seems reasonable because he then would have flopped TP.
He has to think villian has some kind of a hand to have hung around and then bet into him on the river. Hero is sitting there with the 3rd nut flush and if he is going to raise the river he has to think villian is betting into him with the 4th nut flush or worse. Is it worth it for him to raise? How bad do these guys think the other guy is? As the villian I gotta think Hero is either crazy, thinks I'm crazy, he's not thinking at all, or he has the nuts. If it's anyone of these things he's probably capping. I think I'll just call.

If I'm villain, theres no way I put hero on a hand containing the 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] based on hero's preflop and flop play. I'd raise and call a cap.

well, to me it depends. if i think you are a donk, I raise everytime. if i know that you will only reraise or fold (and reraising means you have a better hand).... then I just call. if i dont know which way to go b/c i dont know how competant/whatever you are yet, i will default to raising.
and therefore, i chose raise [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
