KK hand 50NL 6max
Despite doing very well at this level, I still feel like weak tight at heart. This is from yesterday.
Villain just sat at this table. I raised $3 w KK UTG and folded to bb who reraised to $10. Sometimes I push, but this time I decided to be tricky and just called. (mistake?) flop was QJ4 rainbow and guy pushed his rest $30. WAWB ? |

Re: KK hand 50NL 6max
just get it in preflop...as played you have to call here as it's a non-ace high flop....altho I can't think of a much worse flop for your KK after that big reraise as QQ or JJ are extemely likely......you could always catch him in a brain-dead bluff here though.

Re: KK hand 50NL 6max
I almost never 3-bet, I would call this for sure. Really a pretty terrible flop for you, I probably fold.

Re: KK hand 50NL 6max
I'm not sure I follow the logic of this one. Given the way this has played out you are probably looking at JJ or QQ so unless I had a read that pointed at an over aggressive/maniac type who would do this with AQ then I'm laying this down.
I would say that 99% of the time you want to get your money in on any non-ace flop with KK but there are exceptions, like anything in poker. |

Re: KK hand 50NL 6max
just curious... why does noone give the villain aces as a likely hand?

just curious... why does noone give the villain aces as a likely hand? [/ QUOTE ] It's likely but his range still includes QQ and JJ. All these hands are ahead after the flop. |

Re: KK hand 50NL 6max
certainly possible, against a reasonable reraising range, I am not ahead by much, maybe an overplayed AQ or bluffing AK.
