Limping with aces UTG in order to reraise is a very fine strategy at an aggressive table. You cannot simply dismiss this as bad; atleast it is foolish to do so.

On the flop you are way ahead / way behind. Raising gets worse hands / bluffs to fold and better hands to play with you.

Yeah except

1) We don't know that this is an agressive table
2) Limp reraising basically announces AA or KK, whereas a simple raise gets the money in and your hand is still somewhat shrouded in mystery. Why give your opponents the advantage of knowing exactly what you have.
3) right on the flop he is WA/WB but not raising gives you no clue as to where you are. Assume for a second that he doesn't hit his miracle ace on the turn. Is he calling value bets from a lone 6 all the way to the river? If he is he's stupid for letting the dude suck out on him for free, and then paying him off like a fish.
4) Not raising the turn and building a pot against someone with a 6 is foolish.

[/ QUOTE ]

Good point, I agree, limping UTG with aces cant be dismissed as a bad play. certian situations do call for it, especially if theres a positional lag.

The rest of djoyces comments matched my thoughts exactly.

You river 1/2 pot looks like a lone A trying to get a cheap showdown (BTW - nicely played there), 3-bet all-in. A6 is the only thing to fear and only if you also check under your bed for monsters each night.

villian has 76. I did not see the river completes the straight at that time. I agree a reraise is better than calling. But at this level, I am not totally sure if vilian would call my push with 76. Maybe I give them too much credit here.

Better to make a mistake and still win $$$, then have the mistake cost you a buy-in.

Good post. I like it when people post hands they win, but feel they did not play optimally.
