There was really no reason to 3-bet this flop.

Fold the turn.

It might be just me, but I'm folding to the flop raise.

Ummm.... what in god's name are you doing three-betting this flop?

You have A high and gutshot on a monotone board against an opponent who seems to play reasonably well.

Good point.

I can't tell the pot size here since the pre-flop is messed up. I'm assuming hero raised, bb folds, and villian calls.

This would be 8sb's when it comes back to us. There are 3 non-spade queens, and 2 non-spade aces that help us.

Villians range given his flop raise is something like KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, QT, AT. Some of these have us reverse dominated, so we have somewhere around 4 outs or so.

I see a fold now, even if we have very very marginal odds to call, the fact that we can re-drawn on the river by another spade definitely tilts the scale here.

I guess I got a little cocky on the flop. Needless to say it was the flop where I got lost - not the turn.
I folded the turn bet and someone asked why I folded. Guess I shouldn't have been in the hand that far anyway.
Lesson learned!

You lost this hand PF when you didn't raise.

Your just aggravating the situation now.

I'm new to this converter thing. I "did" raise pre-flop. I guess I missed it in the conversion. Does that make a differnce? With the flop re-raise? Is it still a fold?

Raise preflop. It changes the entire hand.

Why did you 3-bet the flop raise? Regardless, once the flop is capped, there's really no way you should put another bet into the pot. You're beat.
