Stupid *isolation* pf question
A bad player limps in EP, you have 88-66 (any position) with tightish blinds and no noteworthy players behind. I've been raising in this spot everytime....word?

Re: Stupid pf question
I have been pretty liberal in doing this. But I think I screw it up sometimes.
I like to be in MP-LMP with the majority of the players behind me tight. If the BB is loose and a bad player, I will still raise, because usually 66-88 is miles ahead of what he has. So I don't mind playing it against (2) bad passive players. If the blinds are LAGGY, I don't like doing this too much. |

Re: Stupid *isolation* pf question
Smiley,
I raise quite liberally with 88 anyway (at some point I just decided that I liked it enough to start raising with it more often). I'll raise with 77 rarely and 66 only in specified isolation situations. Personally, with 66 or 77, I want to be able to expect that I'll get the hand heads up a very good portion of the time (let's make up a number... uhh... like 60%). More importantly, I want to expect that all the players behind me will fold out even more often than that (if a blind comes along I'm okay, but I want position): let's say 80% of the time. I don't think you can expect everyone to fold out behind you all that often unless you are raising from like the Hijack or better. Button - 3 maybe in certain situations if you have a tight read on the three behind you. |

Re: Stupid *isolation* pf question
the closer to the limper you sit and the more loose passive are those that follow you, the more you need to consider limping (rather than raising).
Raising this all the time is lagass. |

Re: Stupid *isolation* pf question
Does anyone know how to make a pokertracker filter like: "raised PF after one limper"?
